The Shop Tart has a breakfast thing. It isn’t terribly interesting, she just likes breakfast, and will make or buy a fancy one any day of the week.

The day after she returned from Haiti, though she knew she should get some work done, she couldn’t resist a breakfast invitation from a friend. (By the way, she had planned to work in Haiti, and she did, but not as much as she should have. Internet and electricity weren’t always consistent, and she had a lot of stuff to see!) Anyhow, she met her friend at Millwood Coffee Company. The Shop Tart ordered à la carte, two eggs over easy, a pile of spinach and bacon. They offered to wilt the spinach for her, but she asked for it raw. Perfect combo to start the day!

And they had a selection of hot sauces. A combo of #1 and #3 did the trick.

The menu is simple and good and the Shop Tart will definitely be back. Bonus: They have wi-fi and, mid-morning, the cafe is pretty chill, a great place to work.
