Don’t forget to ask for your discount!

Ahem. You knew that, right? They have them fairly often, and the Shop Tart tries to remember to mention it, but to be sure, you might want to follow them on Facebook, or on Twitter, or sign up for their email list. All you have to do to get the discount today is ask for it. The Shop Tart occasionally channels Kristen Wiig’s Target lady, pumps her fists in the air, and chortles, “I can’t WAIT to get my 20 percent discount!”
But you could ask in a more normal way. Anyhow, the Shop Tart has a big list planned, including food and beauty products. As you may or may not know — or care! — she struggles with dry skin. Like, is totally tormented by it in the winter. She’s always looking for a perfect solution. Recently, she discovered Natralia’s Dry Skin Wash.
The ingredients are all naturally derived and the wash uses a coconut oil based cleansing agent. Coconut oil is the bomb. Natralia’s wash is perfect for face and body, which makes it super convenient. The consistency is similar to Cetaphil and the smell is very mild, with a hint of almond oil (probably because there’s almond oil in it).
For years, the Shop Tart has been itching — Ha! Because of the dry skin! Get it? — to try Dr. Hauschka’s Rose Day Cream. At around $42 an ounce, the cream seemed like a reach, until the Shop Tart got desperate. Also, she can get 20 percent off at Rosewood Market!
As she has learned, this stuff is going to last a long, long time. The smallest dab covers her whole face and neck. Another small dab takes care of her chest and hands. It smells delightful, like fresh roses, possibly because thirty rose flowers go into each tiny tube. At first, you think the cream will leave a greasy film on your face, because it’s so darn moisturizing. Then something magical happens. The Rose Day Cream sinks into your skin, leaving a silky, almost matte finish. You can add makeup over that and the cream won’t eat it. Hooray! This stuff is perfect for dry, sensitive, or irritated skin (or all three at once!). So go get you some, today, because it’s 20 percent off day.
Know what else you need? Sami’s Bakery Millet and Spinash Lavash.
These wraps are the most delicious thing on earth, the perfect vehicle for yesterday’s leftovers. Roast chicken quesadilla? Yes, please. Huevos rancheros made with last night’s bean dip? Perfect for your hangover. Leftover chard? Hellz yeah. These wraps make it taste like junk food!
Top one of them with something awesome, and heat it in olive oil (or your oil of choice) until it’s soft enough to fold in two. Fold and keep cooking (flip if necessary) until it’s toasty and delicious. Eat and be filled with joy.
What are you stocking up on at 20 percent off day?
