Update: Whoa. This never happens! But, wait, it does! Because it’s random! Random.org chose a random number between one and 50…and it was one. So weird, the Shop Tart had to take a screen shot and show you.

Whoa!

Congratulations, Sandra!

And it isn’t just for children! In October, they hosted the first EdVenture After Dark event, Uncorked, a fun wine tasting for adults only. Did you go? Did you miss it? Well, here’s your chance. On February 7th, EdVenture After Dark will bring you Chocolatology, a tasting extravaganza! What will you find?

  • The Cocoa Cabana. Yum.
  • Dip and Dab Workshop, where you can paint with chocolate and enjoy tasty treat crafting.
  • A master chocolatier, ready to drop some knowledge.
  • The Chocolate Tap Room, where you’ll enjoy artisan chocolates paired with local beers.
  • Music by DJ Magic.
  • Beer! Wine! Dessert!

In case you didn’t notice, this is happening a week before Valentine’s Day, so you can celebrate early or just get pumped up for the big day, which is really all about chocolate. Fun Fact: The Shop Tart and her college room mate used to raid the shelves at the drugstore the day after Valentine’s Day for sale chocolate. You don’t need a man to get all the chocolate.

Yum.

And you might not have to buy a ticket to go to Chocolatology! The Shop Tart has two pairs of tickets to give away. Two lucky readers will get to attend and treat a friend!

Chocolatology!

Tickets are $20 for EdVenture members and $25 for non-members. You can get them here. Or maybe you’ll win a pair!

This giveaway works like the others. To enter, just leave a comment, any comment will do, but the Shop Tart would love to know how you take your chocolate. She likes hers in homemade Magic Shell form. The winner will be announced on Wednesday, February 6th, in the afternoon.

Good luck and don’t forget to tell them you read it on the Shop Tart!

I like my chocolate dark and bitter. Not that I am bitter, or like bitter men. I’m not sweet either. That’s just the way I like it. I like to let it me melt on my tongue and just hang out on my taste buds, too… Mmmm, I think I need some chocolate now. :)
