The Shop Tart doesn’t get the chance to help with a fashion shoot often, but she really enjoys it when she does! This week, she’s been running around for Columbia Metropolitan Magazine’s March issue. The shoot features pets from Pawmetto Lifeline with the models and adorableness ensued. Sneak Peek: Katie Rudder of Pink Sorbet, dressed in fab Lilly springtime casual wear, looking on as Insley the cat is coaxed into her tote.

Yup. The cat's going in the bag. We hope. @pinksorbetsc @letsbepreppy

The Shop Tart loved her trip to Pink Sorbet a few days earlier to help choose Katie’s look. She hit the fully stocked sale racks.

And found a fab black lace pencil skirt, fabulously discounted, which she ended up wearing to the shoot a few days later.

You really should stop by and check out the enormous sale selection at Pink Sorbet, including the bins of belts!

Do you need an agenda? These are great and on sale, because they started in August, but go through December 2013.

The sale shoe selection was enormous and most of them are perfect for spring!

There are even some things for the guys.

The Shop Tart also checked out what was new for spring, including these jeans in Lilly’s Snorkel Blue Hold Your Horses print. Love!

The Shop Tart adores Lilly’s gorgeous lace pieces. The Helene dress in lagoon green is just about the prettiest thing she has ever seen. You could wear this to all 400 weddings, engagement parties, and random cocktail parties you’ll attend this spring and summer.

Or how about the Christine dress in Gold Metallic Sneak a Peek? Love!

Prefer something a little less tailored? The Wilda dress in Shorely Blue Lush is perfect. Dress it down with flats or take it up a notch with strappy gold evening sandals.

And one more thing! The Shop Tart would like to remind you why Lilly Pulitzer swimsuits are the absolute best.

  • They actually provide support for your lovely bust.
  • And coverage!
  • But they aren’t frumpy.
  • They also cover your bottom.
  • Without a skirt!
  • The fabric is high quality and holds up well, even if you — you know — actually swim.
  • If you prefer a one-piece, they have great ones that are cute, comfortable, and not dowdy.
  • They are sold as separates, so you don’t have to conform to someone else’s silly idea of what your proportions should be.
  • You can totally get a matching cover-up, shorts, bag, or just about any other thing you might want to pair with it.

Are you ready for spring? The Shop Tart has been really enjoying the warm weather, but she hears it’s going to get cold again…which will make her even more excited for spring!

Don’t forget: You have one more day to enter to win two tickets to the best thing going in Columbia this weekend!

Right after I put myself on a spending ban, Pink Sorbet menswear would go on sale.
